There’s something about teal that has always captivated me. It’s more than just a color—it’s a feeling, a vibe, a balance between the calming nature of blue and the invigorating energy of green. Teal is versatile, striking, and somehow manages to be both bold and tranquil. That balance is what draws me in every time.

Teal was originally created as a color in the early 20th century, named after the common teal bird, which has a vibrant teal stripe on its head. The color itself comes from the blend of blue and green pigments, creating a rich, deep hue that offers both coolness and warmth. It’s a chameleon of sorts, fitting beautifully in any space, whether you’re aiming for a calming retreat or a lively, energetic environment.

To me, teal represents the perfect marriage of serenity and vibrance, a color that can transform a space or even elevate your mood. It’s a love affair I’m happy to continue, and one that always inspires my creative choices.
