JENNIFER VITALIA DESIGN POLICY  - 2011-2023 - Closed in 2023

**Payment Terms, Fees and Non-Refund Policy:**

1. Payments: All deposits, partial payments, or full payments made in connection with our projects are entirely non-refundable.

2. 70% Retainer for Artistic Services: In order to commence the labor-intensive artistic services for painting or design work, beyond the deposit and materials costs, a 70% retainer is essential. This retainer plays a pivotal role in allocating the crucial resources, time, and artisanal expertise required to transform your distinct vision into reality. Please note that we cannot initiate a project until the full retainer has been received. If you require payment plans, our work will commence once the retainer is paid in full.

3. Payment Plan Option: Following the 70% retainer, you have the flexibility to structure the remaining balance into a convenient payment plan, enabling you to manage your financial commitment comfortably.

4. Full Payment Option: You are welcome to settle the remaining balance in full at any stage of the process. This choice is available for clients who wish to expedite the transaction. However, please note that while this can speed up the financial aspect of the project, it cannot accelerate the production timeline, as the necessary time for production remains unchanged and cannot be rushed.

5. Late Payments: In the event of delayed payments for an invoice, a weekly fee of $18.75 will be incurred, and work may be temporarily paused for a maximum period of 24 weeks. It's important to emphasize that written notice is mandatory. Should the outstanding balance remain unpaid after this 24-week timeframe, a full payment will be necessary to resume work and avoid a breach of the contract.

6. Storage Fees: Following the completion of Furniture and Fine Art orders, we provide a courtesy holding period of four weeks for your convenience. However, should your piece(s) remain in our possession beyond this designated period, a storage fee of $75.00 per week will be applied. It's crucial to note that should eight weeks elapsed from the date of your order's completion without a scheduled pick-up, the piece will be considered abandoned. In such cases, it's important to understand that no refunds will be issued. The introduction of a storage fee serves to encourage timely delivery arrangements and prevent overcrowding in our storage areas, mitigating potential additional costs. Extended storage of pieces in our studio has the potential to disrupt our workflow and hinder the initiation of new projects. Our utmost priority is to facilitate the efficient delivery of your piece(s) to their intended destination.

7.Refund Policy for In-Stock Items: For in-stock items, a refund can be issued if a written request is submitted before the item leaves Jennifer Vitalia Design and within 7 days of purchase. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the refund to be processed and returned to you.. After the initial 7 days, the item will only be eligible for store credit. Store credits remain valid for a maximum duration of four years from the date of issuance and can be used up to the paid amount.

8. Transaction Disputes: Starting in 2023, financial institutions have introduced fees for dispute initiation. In line with our no-refund policy, this restricts the filing of credit card disputes that are not applicable. JVD continues to prioritize providing evidence of valid transactions to effectively address and resolve any disputes. As a result, should a credit card dispute arise, a 15% processing fee will be applied in such circumstances.

9. **Non-Refundable:** We want to make it clear that we do not provide refunds for a variety of items and services, including but not limited to: services rendered, material costs, digital products/services, completed services, changes of mind, gift cards/store credit, subscription services, design, photography, canvas, or items marked as final sale. Your understanding of this policy is greatly appreciated.

** Production Time Policy:**

1. Standard Production Time: Typically, our standard production time for both Furniture and Fine Art orders extends to 24 weeks from the purchase date. Should any additional time be necessary, we will keep you informed through written notices as the project advances toward its completion. We earnestly request our clients to carefully contemplate this timeframe. Crafting custom artistry demands painstaking attention to detail, and affording sufficient time ensures the attainment of the finest and exclusively acceptable outcomes.

2. In-Stock Pieces: In the case of in-stock items that are available for immediate purchase, the production and delivery lead time extends to a maximum of 12 weeks from the date of purchase. It's essential to emphasize that clients are responsible for making delivery arrangements for in-stock items, and additional information regarding this can be found in the delivery and shipping section of our policies.

It is crucial to emphasize that this production schedule exclusively covers the time required for crafting the piece and does not include delivery time or account for any potential delays caused by shipping issues. At JVD, we prioritize delivering not just products but true works of art, and this policy helps us achieve that standard of excellence for our valued clients.

**Delivery Policy:**

At Jennifer Vitalia Design, We do not provide delivery services; our pricing primarily encompasses Jennifer's creative work, ideas, concept development, and artistic abilities. For safe transportation of your artwork and furniture, we recommend professional delivery companies specialized in handling delicate pieces. Please note that spatial measurements for pieces are the client's responsibility. Refunds are not issued for pieces that don't fit, as detailed item specifications are provided in the contract. In case of a delivery refusal, all associated fees are the client's responsibility.
