2023 -2024 UPDATE

Regrettably, Jennifer Vitalia Design underwent a necessary rebranding to Jennifer Vitalia for portfolio review purposes. The business faced significant disruptions in 2020-2023 due to the enduring impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to the closure of the Jennifer Vitalia Design studio in Galloway, NJ. Despite exhaustive efforts to sustain operations, challenges such as escalating overhead costs and prolonged delays in the delivery of custom-ordered pieces compounded, leaving no capacity within the studio to accommodate new orders. Despite prolonged attempts to work with clients to facilitate the receipt of their custom items, the studio's space constraints, coupled with mounting storage fees, rendered this untenable.

The Covid-19 crisis imposed formidable financial strains, with rent, utility bills, labor, supply costs, and taxes showing no leniency. All completed custom orders were prepared for shipment via professional delivery services, unaffiliated with Jennifer Vitalia Design.

During this tumultuous period, Jennifer persisted in her endeavors until back and neck injuries necessitated extended periods of rest, rehabilitation, and medical interventions, including multiple MRIs revealing herniated disks. Despite requiring assistance such as a cane for mobility during parts of 2023, Jennifer remained resolute in her determination to return to work, under the guidance of neurologists and healthcare professionals.

However, these challenges took a toll on Jennifer's painting hand, resulting in extensive therapy and ongoing assessments for potential nerve damage. Despite these setbacks, valuable lessons were gleaned, underscoring the importance of resilience, dedication, and passion for creativity.

With a diverse background spanning various creative disciplines, Jennifer is now transitioning towards projects that are more conducive to her physical well-being. Current limitations restrict her from engaging in tasks involving heavy lifting or intricate painting details, prompting a return to her foundational passion for painting.

Although the journey ahead may entail relearning and adaptation, Jennifer remains steadfast in her faith and commitment to exploring new creative avenues. Gratitude is extended to loyal clients who provided unwavering support throughout the trials of the pandemic, as well as to companies that have graciously accommodated postponed projects until her full mobility is restored.

For the foreseeable future, Jennifer's focus will be on lighter projects, embracing the essence of her artistic beginnings while also embracing opportunities for personal expression through increased engagement with blogging and sharing her creative journey. Despite the setbacks and challenges faced, Jennifer remains optimistic, guided by faith and a belief in the transformative power of creativity and resilience.
